Description
Ruso's parents grew up in a fishing village called Portley, where people were shit-poor cos they had to pay tax to the soldiers of Arinhold. (Yes, Arinhold! Ruso's one true love!)
• Inataen ~ from a family of poachers and fishermen.
She has a knack for practical inventions, and is the smartest of all my characters. She's also the nicest cos she never begrudges people. And yes, Pebblefur, she likes salmon.
• Echeris ~ an urchin.
He's ambidextrous, fights like a rabid dog, and knows how to get the fuck out of places. He grows up to be a big scary mercenary who still has the vocab of a 7yr old. (He had to raise himself on the streets and hardly ever spoke.)
